Gantt Center for African American Arts, the Charlotte Symphony, the McColl Center for Art + Innovation, The Blumenthal Foundation, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meet Katie Pittman &#8217;24<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Majoring in Arts Management has shown me an entirely new side to studying the arts. I have had opportunities on campus as well as in Charlotte that have prepared me for entering the professional art world confident in myself and my abilities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This major is designed to prepare business-savvy students for professional careers in museums, galleries, arts organizations, the performing arts, or the literary arts, or to attend graduate school. And the skills you\u2019ll learn will extend to many fields beyond the creative realm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll gain real-world, hands-on experiences through multiple on-campus opportunities, as well as in the broader Charlotte community. Our on-campus Gambrell Center is home to a theater, recital hall, and several galleries. Our university is also just a few miles from the Mint Museum, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts, The Blumenthal Foundation, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll also have the opportunity to choose a concentration based on your interests and aspirations.
