As part of an innovative professional development curriculum, 海角社区 students participate in for-credit internships prior to graduation. Students intern on a semesterly schedule, fall<\/strong> (August \u2013 December), spring<\/strong> (January \u2013 May), and summer<\/strong> (May \u2013 August).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By providing internship experiences, organizations help students apply classroom lessons to the workplace. In addition, it allows organizations an opportunity to create pipelines of student talent for successful post-graduate hires.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For an organization to be eligible to host an intern the organization must have two of the three qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. a business mailing address (P.O. Boxes allowed),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. a business email address (i.e. @queens.edu, @belk.com), and\/or<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. a company website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    While unpaid internships are legal, 海角社区 supports NACE\u2019s statement on unpaid internships<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
