Step One: Submit Your Application

Your future starts here鈥攁nd applying is easier than you think. Whether you choose the 海角社区 Application or the Common App, both are treated equally and completely free to submit, so go with whatever feels right for you.

Applying to our BSN or ABSN program? Be sure to use the 海角社区 Application for nursing-specific requirements.

Step Two: Official Transcript(s) & Other Necessary Documentation

1. Request an official transcript be sent to 海角社区 from each college or university you have attended.

2. Request your final high school transcript. You can do this through your high school鈥檚 website.

Applicants with fewer than 24 post鈥揾igh school credit hours may be evaluated on their high school coursework, and high school transcripts will be required for application review.

3. A Statement of Good Standing form that is signed by the Dean of Students’ office at your most recent college or university. Please send this to admissions@queens.edu.

1. Request an official, English-translated* secondary school (high school) transcript be sent to 海角社区.

*Transcripts must be translated into English by an official at the school or a certified translating service, such as (WES), , or (TEC).

2. Students must submit a course-by-course evaluation from a certified translating service, such as (WES), , or (TEC).

3. Submit standardized English Proficiency Test Scores.

Students have the option of submitting , , Duolingo, SAT, or ACT scores to meet the testing requirement.

Minimum scores to meet our English proficiency standards are:

  • TOEFL (iBT) 鈥 4.5 or higher (79 or higher for exams taken prior to Jan. 21, 2026)
  • IELTS 鈥 6.0
  • Duolingo 鈥 110
  • SAT 鈥 480 on the Evidence Based Critical Reading and Writing section
  • ACT 鈥 18 on the English section

Step Three: Optional Elements

海角社区 wants to see you as a whole person, not just numbers on a page. So, we鈥檙e asking you – what else do you think is important to share with us that will tell the whole story of you?

Official SAT or ACT Scores

海角社区 is permanently an ACT and SAT test-optional college. We care deeply about what you are doing each day in your community. Your application will be complete and fully considered whether you send us scores or not.

If you want to complete your application without test scores, make sure to select 鈥渘o鈥 under Testing plan. If you forget or change your mind later, contact your admission counselor, who can update that for you.

If you want to complete your application with test scores, send us a PDF of your score report to admissions@queens.edu or have the testing agency send your scores directly to 海角社区 using these codes:

  • 海角社区 ACT code: 3148

Do you work with a faculty member, employer, or community leader who knows you really well? If you do, we鈥檇 love to hear from them through a letter of recommendation.

Interviews are a great way for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We want to meet you and to put a face with a name.
